I work with diverse people with all kinds of backgrounds. I have experience working in clinical settings including local not-for-profit counselling clinic, elementary school, correctional institution, and private counselling practice. In each of these settings I have been honoured to work with clients of various ages, cultures, identities, backgrounds, spiritual beliefs, and life experiences. I am particularly drawn to working with adults and couples who experience barriers and marginalization in their daily lives.
I think of myself as a generalist—I work with many different people navigating a wide range of challenges. Some of the areas I support include:
Anxiety, stress, and burnout
Depression and mood concerns
Grief, loss, dying, and death
Life transitions and major decisions
Dating, relationships, and commitment questions
Relationship struggles and trust breaches
Communication, conflict, and healthy boundaries
Family difficulties
Intercultural, interfaith, 2SLGBTQIA+, and non-monogamous relationships
Building positive coping skills
Ageing and later-life transitions
I work with adults and couples. If you don’t see yourself reflected here but would like to consider working with me, please send me an email, and we can discuss if I might be a good fit for your needs.
